Our next stop was Christchurch. I wont write much for this place. Its just another grey city in the rain. Nothing too spectacular. There was a great art gallery though that was really geared up for kids. Never seen anything like that before - very impressed with that. Oh, and we had scrumptious souvlakis...
That was it - on to Mount Cook. We stopped off at Timaru to break the journey and sleep for the night. We stopped into the Aigantighe Art Museum, which had some interesting pieces. New Zealanders are very creative in the way they display their art.
